The final event of the Championships, the Relay, produced victory for Ukraine in the P (Physically Challenged) class and home nation Finland, the defending champions, in the O (Open) class.

Petteri Hakala, Finland had a very clear victory in the TempO competition today, winning by the huge margin of 77 seconds. Marit Wiksell, Sweden took the silver medal and Antti Rusanen, Finland the bronze.

IOF Trail Orienteering Athletes’ Commission has made a questionnaire on the various aspects of the competition, which they ask you to fill in to give feedback to all the organisers in order to further improve the quality of the competition and to understand the aspects that require general improvements.

The start lists with names have been published on our website. The colours of the number bibs only refer to the tempo station the competitor has to go to, not to the PreO course in any way.

The 2022 European PreO Champions are Alejandro Aguilar Lara, Spain in the P class and Jens Andersson, Sweden in the O class. A difficult Day 2 course produced some significant changes in the results order from Day 1.

Arno Grønhovd, Norway and Petteri Hakala, Finland are joint leaders of the Open class at the end of the first day of the two-day PreO competition at Espoo, Finland. Spaniard Alejandro Aguilar Lara leads the P class by a small margin.
